1. Requirements

Before starting, make sure you have:

• Prism Launcher installed

• A supported Minecraft version (check Simple Voice Chat mod page)

• Fabric Loader for that version

• Fabric API (required mod)

• Simple Voice Chat mod file (voicechat-x.x.x.jar)

2. Creating a Fabric Instance in Prism Launcher

Step 1 — Create a New Instance

1. Open Prism Launcher.

2. Click “Add Instance” (top-left).

3. Pick the Minecraft version required by the Simple Voice Chat version you downloaded.

4. Select Fabric Loader from the left sidebar.

5. Click “OK” to create the instance.

Step 2 — Install Fabric Loader (if not done automatically)

If Fabric wasn’t installed during instance creation:

1. Right-click the instance → Edit.

2. Go to Version tab → Install Fabric.

3. Select the matching Minecraft version + latest Fabric loader.

4. Click OK.

3. Adding Mods (Simple Voice Chat + Dependencies)

Step 1 — Open the Mods Folder

1. Right-click the instance → Edit.

2. Go to the Mods tab.

3. Click “Add Mod” or Open Folder to place files manually.

Step 2 — Add Required Mods

Place the following .jar files into the mods folder:

Fabric API
Simple Voice Chat (SVC)

After adding them, close the window — Prism Launcher will detect them automatically.

️ 4. Launching the Game for the First Time

1. Double-click the instance to launch.

2. Wait for Minecraft to fully load — first launch may take longer.

3. Once in the main menu, check Mods to confirm that Simple Voice Chat is listed.
